Chris Isaak – Wicked Game

The coolest song ever… less known perhaps is the instrumental that appears on David Lynch’s Wild At Heart movie, Chris Isaak is the ultimate 90’s crooner…

Michael Kiwanuka – Cold Little Heart

Song of the year? probably…witnessing the birth of a classic song.. up there with anything Fleetwood Mac have done, there is a fabulous TV series also using this song…

Michael Kiwanuka - Cold Little Heart

Fleetwood Mac – Dreams

Apparently written in 10 minutes in the studio from Sly Stone, this song guarantees to put you in the right mood every time…

Lisbon Kid feat Lisa Bilsson – Heading Home

Always been a super fan of Orbital since I saw them at Megadog midi circus back in the early 90’s, Lisa Blisson sang on their original tracks so when the opportunity to record with Lisa came up so we grabbed it.. She delivers a fantastic performance on our single heading home.

Lisbon Kid - Heading Home

Rued Langgaard: Sfærernes Musik

The most innovative composition of the 20th century? Probably..  Years ahead of Stockhausen and his clusters in the film 2001 A Space Odyssey, Langgaard composed spatial music in 1916, almost forgotten but a genius up there with Stravinsky.

Rued Langgaard: Sfærernes musik (BVN 128) (1916)

Agnes Obel – September Song

This is just beautiful, don’t know much about Agnes Obel but this piano piece just hits all the right spots for me
.

Ituana – You Can’t Always Get What You Want

Such an Incredible version of a Rolling Stones classic, again don’t know much about this artist but this version gets played all the time.

Arvo Pärt – Spiegel Im Spiegel

I’m a massive Arvo Pärt fan therefore it’s hard to pick one of his compositions, but I personally think Spiegel Im Spiegel really sums up his work perfectly.. an outstanding piece of music, every home should own a copy.

Arvo Pärt - Spiegel Im Spiegel (Violin And Piano)

Lisbon Kid – At The End Of the Day

Lisbon Kid - At The End Of the Day (ft. Rui Veloso on slide guitar)

Featuring Rui Veloso playing slide guitar, I grew up listening to Veloso’s music and it was an absolute honour to get him to guest on this song…
