Back To Mine with My Digital Enemy

1. Way out west – Montana (Let yourself go)

I still get rushes from this track. When the Arp, Piano and Vocal are all playing it is my idea of the perfect euphoric breakdown! 90’s all the way.

2. Prodigy – One Love

Sooo love the organ riff and eastern type vocal in the break. Definitely a big influence on some of our tracks in 2014.

3. Ellis Dee, Krome & Time – Free the Feeling

The switch up in this track from piano to dirty bass and ragga vocal is insane! This influence definitely shines through in some of our more recent tracks.

4. Energy 52 – Cafe Del Mar

Love the chords in this.. the track actually changed my life. I was in Ibiza and heard it for the first time. After that I was obsessed with DJing and production.

5. Liquid – Sweet Harmony

What can I say about this apart from the break is house music perfection! Edited vocals and such an iconic housey piano. This vibe never gets old… MK and Duke Dumont have done so well in recent years and of course us lol

6. Mark Knight and Funkagenda – Man With The Red Face

Really close to my heart this one. I remember thinking how great this was the first time I heard it out and was gagging to get a track on Toolroom. I’m not a big fan of brass instruments in dance tracks but this one does it perfectly!

7. 187 Lockdown – Gunman

The sample from the Clint Eastwood film ‘La Resa Dei Conti’ is so well used to counter the big phat rubber bass! Such a good vibe, love it!

8. Alter Ego – Rocker

We loved this track so much that we replayed all the riffs and did our own version with Prok and Fitch for Skint Records! The distorted wonky synths were so original when it first came out!

9. Bizarre Inc – Playing with Knives

This has got to be one of the best piano riffs of all time! It’s been remixed so many times and does the damage on the dance floor to this day. It really played a big part in shaping our sound at the beginning!

10. Azzido Da Bass – Dooms Night

All I can say about this is whomp whomp BASS! That’s where we are at now!
