Back To Mine with Jorge Ciccioli

Argentinian techno wizard Jorge Ciccioli (Silencio) talks us through his favourite ‘Back To Mine’ tracks.

Alva Noto – Xerrox Mono Phaser 2

It’s my favourite ambient piece. It expresses to me a comfortable and positive future.

Billy Boyo – One Spliff a Day

The vocal from Billy in this track is the best. He was a little child when he recorded and the song sounds really underground and deep.

Ian Brown – Northern Lights

Ian Brown is one of my favourite artists around rock. He is most famous for being in The Stones Roses but in his single career he took it another way and I used to listen a lot in my free time.

Baxendale – I Built This City (Michael Mayer Mix)

Incredible remix from the master from Cologne. Unpredictable and super danceable.

DAF – Der Rauber und der Prinz

A pioneer DJ and good friend of mine called Diego Roca showed me this track some time ago. The official video is really good.

John Coltrane – Love Supreme

I’m not a Jazz specialist, but I can say that this work from Coltrane really captivated me like no other. Elegant, dark and moody.

Frank Sinatra – Deep In a Dream

If I want to relax and be chill, there is nothing better than this.

Plastikman – Disconnect

This is from my favourite LP from Plastikman. The first track, it really inspired me.

‘Jorge Ciccioli – Falling Spores’ is out 18/09/2018 on Silencio.
