Got introduced to this by the old manager of New Young Pony club – love Russel’s style and string work.
5. Dub Syndicate – I Need Your Love (MJ Cole Remix)
Sam started off making and DJ’ing UK Garage on pirate radio and this was a huge underground classic.
6. LCD Soundsystem – All My Friends
Played this at a wedding in the west indies on a beach at about 4am and it got 3 rewinds – festival game changer.
7. Unknown Mortal Orchestra – Can’t Keep Checking My Phone
Discovered these guys at Glasto last year and have been battering their albums ever since – psychedelic and vibey.
8. Anderson.Paak – Heart Don’t Stand A Chance
There’s always some Paak played at afters, this ones got loads of groove.
9. Jon Hopkins – Light Through The Veins
Euphoric journey of a tune, pure feels.
10. Stephan Bodzin – Powers of Ten
The Powers of Ten album is a recent favourite, this track is a bit of a beast.
