Adrian Lux – Torn Apart (Klahr Remix)

Klahr’s Torn Apart remix for Adrian Lux, I’d say, is absolutely perfect. Not only is the vocal incredible, but the melodies are stunning. This is usually the track that makes me instantly happy.

Gotye – Bronte (Inc. Jeremy Olander Remix)

Gotye blew up with ‘Somebody That I Use To Know’ but this tracks also great, such a mellow vibe, great use of percussions, strings, steel drums and vocals, all working in harmony. The Jeremy Olander remix is also sick because of the emotion he retains, but takes the track in a totally different direction! Crazy it never got released too (I think)!

Andy Duguid feat. Leah – Wasted

Where to begin? One of my favourite tracks from Tiesto’s ‘In Search Of Sunrise 7: Asia’, and that compilation had some amazing tracks on it! The vocal really hits those feels on this track; the chords and the guitar all play a part in creating something special, perfect afterhours track.

Hot Since 82 vs. Joe T Vannelli – The End

Although I’ve not been to Ibiza… yet, this track has a real Balearic vibe to it. Everybody always talks about the sunset at Café Mambos, but this track, you can imagine having it pop up on your iPod playlist at 6am in the morning, watching the sun come up etc. The vocal, the atmosphere of the track in general, those strings too, beautiful.

Sebastian Mullaert – You’re An Orchestra In The Cosmos (Joris Voorn Remix)

Joris needs no introduction, this track, it just builds, and builds and builds, and it creates such a euphoric feeling when listened to, a true musical journey. Who can’t picture themselves in the early hours of the morning at an after-party just appreciating this track with a good drink in hand?

Way Out West – The Gift (Gui Boratto Fallopian Mix)

Picking this remix could cause controversy, because the original is an absolute classic, but that version has too much energy to feature on my ‘Back To Mine’ playlist. Gui really takes the track into a different direction on this remix, I love this vocal too, because it takes the track to another level, so catchy, but with deep meanings, you can sing along to it with ease.

Camelphat – Trip

Although a fairly recent release, sometimes coming back to mine can get a bit out of hand, you know, when you don’t wanna stop partying, and this track, this track is a banger, full of energy, the break really does take you on a mesmerizing trip too (excuse the pun).

Bolier & Natalie Peris – Forever And A Day

Forever And A Day is another one of those perfect after hours songs. The whole record has this “daunting” theme to it, and it really does create a vibe, it’s amazingly produced as well, the bass, the melody, the chords, vocals, it has it all.

Coldplay – Adventure Of A Lifetime

I first heard this track from when Axwell & Ingrosso had a jam to it on the way to their show, and I was like holy shit what is that track. The guitars and harmonies in this track are great. Coldplay always deliver! A more upbeat choice for my playlist!
