Hip Hop, Basketball and Skating are three things summarizing my childhood really well and this song always takes me back to these good times.

2. Jamiroquai – Little L

One of my first albums I ever bought was „A funk Odyssey“ by Jamiroquai and his music and persona is a huge inspiration for me.

3. Estelle – American Boy [Feat. Kanye West]

One of my all time favorite guilty pleasure songs and the finest commercial disco funk meets Hip Hop collaboration ever made.

5. Rivage – I Need You Baby

I discovered old disco records rather late for me and I am always stunned what this era has to offer. One of the most beautiful and honest songs I know.

6. Pino D’Angio – Ma Quale Idea

A tune that really got me into Italo disco and keeps on making me smile.

7. Orlando Julius – Disco Hi-Life

Speaking of disco I can not not mention this legendary tune. A true party starter.

8. Tom Misch feat. Loyle Carner

Shout out to the London music scene! A huge influence in what I do today.

I am always impressed how house music can seamlessly connect different music styles and music eras. A special collaboration with two of my favorite house producers Black Loops & Seven Davis Jr.

Bomat – Doing All Right (Nervous Records)

Moritz Bommert aka Bomat is a German composer, producer and DJ based originally from Cologne but based in Berlin. Moritz’s passion for house music started at a young age when he moved to Berlin to study and deep dive into the city’s vibrant musical landscape where he worked for several years as a music producer and DJ releasing music under various monikers until 2015. After a creative break, Moritz returned to the studio in 2018 to discover his very own sound and start his Bomat alias before teaming up with the
legendary NYC label Nervous Records for his ‘Classy Talk’ that came out in 2020. ‘Doing All Right’ is an irresistible deep house cut that smoothly blends alluring keys and shuffling drums with luscious leads and stirring vocals.
