1. Fugees – Killing Me Softly

I love the Fugees, this is an iconic tune for me and is always on my private playlist.

2. Dr. Dre Feat. Snoop Dog – Still D.R.E.

Well if I say that i didn’t got inspired from this one & str8 outta Compton for my latest ep, it would be a lie. I love these beats.

3. Stimming – November Morning

A masterpiece from Stimming, I have a clear memory of me in the cold lake of Como in Italy during the winter taking in the cold winter and listening to this one… Such a magical feeling…

4. DJ Nasty – Freaky Tonight

Some old school beats are always welcome in my daily music life.

7. Jackson 5 – I Want You Back

I love to listen to every kind of tune & record but I really love the old ones, because of my parents they transmitted to me a big musical culture, and i’m really super thankful to them for this.

8. Raf – Self Control

Why is this here? ”GTA Vice city!!! Don’t tell me that you haven’t been around city in a Lambo Countach , but I really like this one, it represents the 80’s and my love for the music of those years.

9. Drake – Nice For What

I love most of Drakes tracks, mostly for the samples on the beats.

10.  Beethoven – Love Story

I love classical this theme, a perfect drop of emotions & feelings, looks like a gate into beethovens soul when he composed this one.

Greeko – Str8 Outta Club

Exciting young artist Greeko lands on Desolat with three more of his dark, club ready beats.

The Ibiza based Albanian has played club meccas like Tresor, Cocorico and Pacha and received props from kingpins such as Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati and Marco Carola for tunes on labels like Mo’s Ferry Prod, Hot Creations & Snatch!.

He says, “I made this EP straight after I left Ibiza, during the early winter. I was really inspired and wanted to materialise my thoughts about the adversities of night life and how getting involved in the industry has both good and bad sides. I wanted to convert my feelings into powerful music and to create a contrast between the different sides.”

He sure does that right from the off with the arresting title track, which has ducking and diving drums that are slick and crisp. Spoken word vocals interact to intriguing effect as wild samples explode in the background. It’s a dancing tune of the highest order. The brilliantly unhinged ‘Brain Damage’ has paranoid, shadowy vocal stabs, explosive drums and hammering hits that will freak out the floor in fine fashion. Last of all comes ‘The Fear’, a tribal track with rubbery drums rolling beneath a wordless vocal that turns your mind inside out. Rising synths add tension and suspense and the innovative drum programming really takes this one to the next level.
