Back To Mine With Moraze

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Deep, curious, and emotive are just three words to describe the sound of French artist, Moraze. His incredible productions on own label Instance Records have gained him well-deserved recognition, and his well-

structured DJ sets simultaneously hit the spot. Gripping with a somewhat pure meaning to them.

Last year saw the artist grow even further with Phantasm radio shows in his temporary home base of Ibiza in the summer, playing himself and hosting specially curated guests on his shows over on Ibiza Sonica, and launch a series of club nights. Here’s what the talented producer listens to in his spare time…

01. Ry/Frank Widmann – Howling (Ame Remix) – Howling Ep

A perfect combination of Indie pop and electronic here. This track is definitely something really strong and never quit my case.

02. Der Dritte Raum – Hale Bopp

Released in 1998 , the very famous « Hale Bopp » is a deep travel between minimal, funk and techno. A Masterpiece for sure and one of my asbolute favorite.

03. Earth, Wind & Fire – In The Stone

Massive fan of this one. The only definition of groove for all music lovers.

04. Marc Romboy & Stephan Bodzin – Kerberos

Very strong collaboration to create the insanely gorgeous « Kerberos » Kind of track who defined the modern techno scene until today.

05. Dj Rolando A.K.A the Aztec Mystic – Jaguar

I will never forget all sensations I get when I heard this track for the very first time …A masterpiece from Détroit.

06. Eagles & Butterflies – Can’t Stop

The big surprise of this summer and a massive hit in every club around the planet, I can’t stop to listening to it.

07. Hans Zimmer – Interstellar Main Theme

Interstellar Theme is one of the most cinematic experience ever, from a musical point of view.

08. Gino Soccio – Dancer

Diamond from 1979, this track is a real masterpiece.

09. Maceo Plex – When The Lights Are Out

This tune is for me a true stroke of genius. Maceo Plex used here for the very first time a vocal and the result is quite simply insane.

10. Bohannon – Let’s Start A Dance (Larry Levan Remix)

A very classic piece from Studio 54 and for the real disco generation. Awesome!
