KEITH THOMPSON

“So Much Trouble In The World” – Bob Marley (Island rec.)
Just to let you know that even though there’s so much shit going on as always, we still need to release with a party.
“Let’s Get it On” – Marvin Gaye (Tamla rec.)
Obvious but perfect fot the cheeky but funkiness of it.
“flashlight” – Parliment & the Funkadelics (Casablanca rec.)
The best way to get a dark, funky, dirty party start where I’m from.
“Bam Bam” – Tiger – (RAS)
What’s a party without some classic dancehall.
“Walk Like Champion” – Buju Banton (Penthouse rec.)
You can’t end it with Just one batty shaker and this one is IT.
“Where Love Lives” – Alison Limerick (Arista, UK)
One of my all time favorites to change up the tempo and show the young heads where “Lazy” got its groove from.
“Break 4 Love” [orig mix] (Grove St. rec.) or  [2006 remake] (Monster Bang Music) – Raze feat. Keith Thompson
What the fuck, it’s a classic and would get a laugh.
“Promised Land” – Joe Smooth (Westside rec.)
Nice way to end things with a touching, still reaffirming message.
