Clive Henry:

Easy Star All Stars-Dub Side of The Moon/RadioDread
Really clever dub/reggae interpretation cover of two classic albums. Cant choose btwn the pair of em as they’re both equally wicked. Bring out the blunts!

Radiohead – OK Computer
I’m a bit of a fan of the Oxford based band. This was the soundtrack to my summer when i had a residency @ The Highway club in Crete a few summers back. Groundbreaking, in my humble opinion.. Glad i finally found time to see em live @ Victoria Park last week..

WildStyle – Original Soundtrack
For me this sums up my youth when i moved to West London from Tottenham. BMXing, getting piss*d, Blues parties, Covent Garden writers corner, Graff, Hip Hop Jams, Notting Hill Carnival, pirate radio, Harrow Leisure, Dexy’s discoteque, Regals nightclub blah blah.. Was an exciting time with the birth of hip hop/electro (no not that “Electro”) and breakin/body poppin. The film was wicked even if the acting was a bit pony…

U2 – The Joshua Tree
i think U2 are one of those bands that some people dont like to admit they have a fondness for !For sure its “stadium rock” but every track on this album was immense.Another band that sound equally good live as on cd/vinyl/cassette/8 track..

Thomas Newman-American Beauty Soundtrack
After music another interest of mine is movies (as u can see). This soundtrack doesnt need the film to help make it what it is; Highly emotive. This is ideal for those days when u need a bit of an escape from everyday nonsense

Justin Drake:

Virgo “Virgo1”
Early chicago album that first appeared on trax records. Inspiring today as it was back then.

Emporer Machine “Aimee Tallulah Is Hypnotising”
Understated electronica from Andy ‘Chicken Lips’ Meecham

PJ Harvey “White Chalk”
Best album of last year for me. Heavy on the melancholy.

MGMT “Oracular Spectacular”
Heavily influenced by Flaming Lips. The psychedelic sound of the summer.

Aphex Twin “Selected Ambient Works 85-92”
The sound of Richard D James sitting in his bedroom Inventing a whole new genre.
