Supporting Madonna on MDNA tour
Having just celebrated his 21st birthday with a huge headline show at Governors Island in NYC and at Swedish House Mafia’s Milton Keynes show, Alesso’s assent continues to pick up pace with the announcement that he will be joining Madonna’s MDNA tour on six select dates throughout July and August. The prodigiously talented Swedish DJ and producer is fast rising through the ranks of the titans of EDM as he sweeps to the forefront of the genre. Having been named by MTV as EDM artist to watch for 2012 and recording a BBC Radio 1 Essential mix in March, he has continued to scale new heights with ‘Calling (Lose My Mind)’, his recent collaboration with Sebastian Ingrosso, and his remix of Keane’s ‘Silenced By The Night’, which hit number 1 in the Beatport charts.
Well versed in disco and house, Madonna has embraced the burgeoning EDM movement and is showing her admiration for Alesso by inviting him to join her on her world tour, a move which once again cement’s the young DJ’s growing stature…
