Back To Mine With Arodes

Last year Arodes really made his mark with tunes like ‘Storm’ and ‘Reborn’ finding their way into the sets of influential DJs like Rufus Du Sol, Monolink and Vintage Culture. He also played over 150 gigs everywhere from Tomorrowland and Burning Man to Ushuaia Ibiza and Brooklyn Mirage. He runs his own Unreleased event series and is on a mission to make deep connections with his audience. As his new collaboration with Klement Bonelli, ‘Elevate’, drops on connected, DMCWorld goes back to mine with Arodes.

Olive – You’re Not Alone

One of the first electronic tracks I remember searching for outside of a club.

The Temper Trap – Sweet Disposition

There are many versions/edits of this made for the dance floor, but there is nothing like the original.

Whilk & Misky – Clap your Hands (Solomun Remix)

This remix helped Solomun to establish and consolidate his career. I remember listening and dancing to it at Coachella years ago.

Depeche Mode – Enjoy The Silence

This is a song that has grown on me and matured with me over time. Since a very young age, I would listen to it without understanding what it said and meant, but I remember the melody as something epic.

Technotronik – Pump Up The Jam

From the first time I heard this tune, it has always brought me good energy and joy when I play it.

New Order – Blue Monday

Though before my time, in 80s Spain there was a movement called ‘la Ruta’ (or the route), and in the community of Valencia, electronic pop music was our Rock and Roll. New Order was part of the sound that would be listened to generation after generation.

Eurythmics – Sweet Dreams

‘Sweet dreams’ is part of the history of any electronic music lover. I’ve lived many great moments listening to this song at clubs.

The Human League – Don’t You Want Me

This is a song that my mom really liked, and she would play it on a cassette player for me and my sister when we were young.

Sono – Keep Control

This is a song that I actually discovered from a remix, and then after doing research, I found the original, and I liked it more than any other version.

Daft Punk – Around The World

Who hasn’t imitated the ‘Around the World’ dance in the living room of their parent’s home?

Arodes & Klement Bonelli ‘Elevate’ is out now on connected.
