Todd Terje – Inspector Norse

Just a fantastic track and an eternal classic! Being a Norwegian I’m really proud of this one coming out of Norway. It’s so creative and just has this quirky vibe that makes me happy and start to smile. The official video is also a classic in itself! (I linked to another one due to sound quality)

Mink & Shoes – Psychemagik (Original Mix)

This track has plenty of attitude and a unique vibe! The synth coming in at 0.33 is gold and creates a groove that makes it difficult to keep your head still. I discovered this track after being hijacked to an afterparty in Bergen with complete strangers, who later became friends! So kudos to Diane and the rest of the crew!

DJ Koze – Drone me up, Flashy feat. Sophia Kennedy (&ME Remix)

One of my recent discoveries that I randomly stumbled upon online. It immediately caught my attention from the first second. It just has this magnetism that draws me in. Love the patience in the arrangement and the general aesthetics of the track! Even if I didn’t understand the German lyrics initially, I just think it fits like a glove to the vibe.  When the synth comes in at 1.36 I´m really onboard for the journey!

Chelonis R. Jones – Pompadour (Gorge Remix)

I seem to never get tired of this track. I discovered it in a set by DJ Carina who’s from my home-town, Bergen, a long time ago.  It’s stuck with me ever since. It ticks all the boxes for me and has this X-factor I really can’t pinpoint. Gorge masters the act of keeping it repetitive without it getting boring. I’m a massive fan of Gorge’s work.

London Grammar – Hey Now

One of my favorites, that I seem to like In all forms and shapes. With the Tensnake, and the Sasha remix being equally epic! I vary which one of the three I listen to depending on the mood and situation I´m in.   The vocal is just out of this world and touches me to the core.  And I just love that pluck guitar!

John Hayes – Beautifully Lost Mind

Simply a beautiful track by John Heyes!  John has few other gems that I really enjoy, special mentions being Fond and Curandero, coming from the album named after this track. Definitely worth checking out! John takes me to a different place with these tracks!  I only wish it was longer!

Surface – Falling In Love (12″ Extended Mix)

Proper retro vibes here that tickles my fancy! This one appeals to my softside. It always gets me thinking of my wife. I’m super weak for that bassline and the vocals. I want to thank my friend Luke for introducing me to this Salsoul gem!

Elliot Moriarty — Dormant Emotions

I discovered this when I was In Amsterdam for ADE. And after a night out I just kept listening to it over and over. It strikes a nerve in me emotionally, and I really enjoy being in the “universe” Elliot has created!   The Jiminy Hop remix of it is also fantastic!

Ramin Rezaie – Lucid Dreaming

I just love this track!  It’s just a perfect cocktail of the right ingredients for me with attitude, groove, drums, bassline, vocals, and atmos underneath. I really believe and relate to the story. For me this works on a clubnight, inflight and latenight. Even though it’s a 131 BPM track listen to this in bed, though I have problems not tapping my feet.

Midland – Final Credits

Last but not least it’s the Final Credits. A true weapon I discovered through my friend Adam in Ibiza. It immediately stood out to me as a feel-good, amazing track. Love the soulful vocal and I really like the arrangement of it. This track motivates me and gives me energy!
