For 24-year-old LYOD, aka Niklas Heidkamp, who hails from Cologne, anything is possible: he was already crafting his first tracks at the age of ten, and last year alone he produced a good dozen songs. This song is one of my all-time favorites. I can listen to it endlessly and it never gets boring. For me, it’s one of the best remixes ever made. Whenever I turn this song on, I forget everything around me and just think about all the great memories I share with this song. Huge fan of Cyril Hahn’s remixes.

Chris Malinchak – So Good To Me

This song is always there when I need summer feelings or just some good vibes. It’s already a classic for me and reminds me of so many great moments.

Avicii – Silhouettes

Avicii is one of my biggest inspirations to this day, and nearly all of his songs from the 2010-2012 era remind me of my childhood. Coming home from school, searching new tunes on YouTube and playing them over and over again. I share so many memories with his melodies and “Silhouettes” touches me every time I play it.

Fred Again – Dermot (see yourself in my eyes)

Love the vibe, the feeling, and the character this song creates. Never get tired of it and it’s just so inspiring to hear what Fred Again did with Dermot’s vocal in combination with the chords.

Paul Kalkbrenner – Sky and Sand

This song needs no introduction. There are only a few songs out there that create so many emotions with so few elements. I love the chords, the production and the characteristics of the drums. This song is always around.

Dario G – Sunchyme

This song gives me summer vibes and nostalgic feelings straight away. The piano chords together with the sample of The Dreams Acadamy’s “Life in a Northern Town” get me every time. It creates this longing feeling I am always seeking for in songs and when I am in the studio working on music. It made me really sad to hear the recent news of his untimely death but his music will live on forever.

Henry Krinkle – Stay

As soon as you turn this song on, it creates this melancholic feeling that I love so much in music. It builds and builds through the whole song. This is a song that sticks with me forever.

DJ Heartstring & Southstar  – Don’t Stop

Love to turn this song on and just put it on repeat. That’s how you get drawn into the song and feel the atmosphere and the vibe. I really like the roughness and the emotion of this one.

 Skin On Skin – Magic

Absolutely love the atmosphere this song creates and the reduced production. It’s just so on point and hits different in the club. Huge fan of Skin On Skin.

Faithless – Insomnia

The last song also needs no introduction. A timeless classic and one of the greatest melodies ever written in my opinion. I love the energy of this song and I am always so fascinated when the build-up starts and the drums come in. This song inspires me a lot to push harder every time I go into the studio and work on new music.
