Thomas Bangalter – Club Soda

Thomas Bangalter’s “Club Soda” is a track I play when I want to stay in the groove without the energy getting too intense. It’s minimal but undeniably captivating, and it always reminds me of the elegance of French house. There’s something about its groove that keeps me grounded, while still making me feel the pulse of the night.

Sebastien Tellier – La Ritournelle

This track is pure magic, and I’ve felt its power every time I play it. Sebastien Tellier’s “La Ritournelle” is a song that grows with every listen, its sweeping piano and emotional intensity making every moment feel cinematic. For me, it symbolizes the constant pursuit of beauty in the world. Whether I’m in my studio or at home, this track has a way of making time stand still.

Radiohead – Reckoner

“Reckoner” is a track that I always come back to. Thom Yorke’s voice and the live instrumentation create an atmosphere that feels timeless. There’s something raw and intimate about it that resonates with me on a personal level. Every time I listen, it reminds me of the power of live music to create a connection beyond words.

Crazy P – Like A Fool

“Like a Fool” by Crazy P has always felt like a warm embrace. It carries a certain sophistication that speaks to the soul, yet it’s not too serious. I often play it at the end of long nights, when everyone’s winding down but the energy still needs to feel right. It’s perfect for those moments when you want to close out the night on a smooth, soulful note.

INXS – Never Tear Us Apart

This classic always reminds me of nights spent with friends, deep in conversation. “Never Tear Us Apart” is a song that feels like a story being told, full of emotion and vulnerability. It’s a track that captures the feeling of late-night intimacy, reminding me that sometimes music can be as comforting as a close friend.

Red Carpet – Alright

When I’m in need of some soul-lifting energy, “Alright” by Red Carpet is my go-to. There’s something about its uplifting house vibes that feels like a burst of optimism. Whether it’s the early morning or late-night hours, this track helps me reset and bring positive energy into the room. It’s the perfect way to welcome a new chapter after a long night.

Massive Attack – Paradise Circus

Massive Attack’s “Paradise Circus” never fails to captivate me. I can still recall the late nights when I first discovered this track; its haunting beauty transported me to a different world. Every time I hear Hope Sandoval’s voice layered over the somber production, I’m reminded of the power of melancholy and beauty in music. It’s the perfect companion for deep reflection in the early hours when everything feels still.

Dire Straits – Sultans of Swing

Mark Knopfler’s guitar work in “Sultans of Swing” is something I never tire of. The storytelling is rich, and the rhythm section brings an energy that’s both laid-back and exhilarating. It’s a song that manages to keep things cool while still delivering powerful moments, much like the kind of atmosphere I try to create in my own sets.

Daft Punk – Very Disco

Daft Punk’s “Very Disco” is a track I always keep close for after-hours sessions at home. It’s funky, laid-back, and reminds me of the nostalgic feelings of a simpler time in electronic music. I’m particularly drawn to how this track balances being light-hearted yet groovy, making it perfect for the quieter moments in between parties or after a late-night DJ set.

Micrologue – Waiting For The Rain

This track is the perfect representation of the idea that good things come after the rain. I’ve listened to “Waiting For The Rain” during some challenging times, and the peaceful yet intricate rhythms have always provided a sense of calm. For me, this track captures the beauty of overcoming hardships, offering hope with its subtle melodies and soothing beats.
