As his new collaboration with Italian producer, Mark Di Meo, ‘Feel Alive’, comes out on Electronic Nature this week, DMCWorld goes Back To Mine with Rightside.

John Mayer – Who Says
I discovered this track through Michael Brauer (who mixed it) during a workshop in France. It’s a quiet manifesto of personal freedom. Every time I hear it, I’m reminded that taking time for yourself isn’t a luxury. It’s essential.

Eloise – Subside
I started listening to Eloise when she was still unknown, but this artist filled (at least partly) the space Amy Winehouse left in my life. I love how she blends soul, R&B, and jazz with such natural elegance.

Lisa Shaw – Let It Ride (Jimpster Remix)
This song has a special place in my heart because the first time I heard Lisa Shaw’s voice and style, I instantly fell in love. Around ten years later, I had the chance to work on a remix of her track ‘Magic’ with Mark Di Meo. A true personal milestone.

Quincy Jones, James Moody, Brian McKnight, Take 6, Rachelle Ferrell – Moody’s Mood For Love
Pure sensory pleasure. It makes me want to slow everything down and savor every detail. A textbook example of timeless soul.

Blue Six – I’ve Given Enough
I’ve always had a deep love for Blue Six’s sound — to me, it still feels truly unique. Impeccable class, obsessive attention to detail, and Aya’s voice fits their atmosphere like a glove.

Stevie Wonder – I Wish
A burst of groove that’s been my phone ringtone for the past ten years. Every time it rings, I’m transported back to when I was studying piano and dreaming of playing the Wurli like Stevie.

Sade – Kiss Of Life
Sade has this ability to turn every note into a caress. There’s something deeply peaceful about this song. It puts me in a state of sweet suspension, like time itself has paused.

David Bendeth – Feel The Real

This track gives me a natural boost. The kind that makes you start moving without realizing it. It’s a constant on all my playlists for evenings with friends.

Brian McKnight – Come Back To Me

Pure classic soul. I’ve always been drawn to its warm vibe and beautiful melody. After playing it on repeat for years, I eventually turned that love into a soulful house cover, released back in 2014.
