Earth Wind & Fire – Boogie Wonderland

If I could only listen to one song for the rest of my life, it’s this song. Everything about this song makes my heart happy.

George Benson – I Just Want to Hang Around You

The message in this song is simple but highly moving. If the man I love said this to me, I’d cry happy tears.

Stevie Wonder – Send One Your Love

The chord structure in this song is pure genius. I could listen to this on repeat for hours.

The Pharcyde – Runnin

You can’t help but nod your head to this classic. I love riding in my car down the highway at night with this song blasting.

Camp Lo – Luchini (This is It)

This sample is an instant attention grabber. I will stop what I’m doing to listen to this song.

Wipe the Needle & Josh Milan  – Tenderly (Honeycomb Vocal Remix)

How the vocals are layered in this song feels like a warm hug from a friend. I find myself singing the chorus over and over even during the vocal breaks. This is one of my favourites from Josh Milan.

Snarky Puppy – Thing of Gold

This song randomly plays in my head throughout my day. I love how the song’s main idea gets carried from one set of musical instruments to another. As it changes, it feels like my emotions are being carried through a musical land where time stands still and I can just be in the moment.

Lucky Daye – Misunderstood

The lyrics of this song pierce right through the heart. They are so relatable and honest. I get lost in this song every time I listen.

Eric Roberson – Iluvu2much (featuring Algebra Blessett)

Eric & Algebra are a dynamic vocal pairing and they beautifully deliver this song.

PJ Morton – Say So (featuring JoJo)

This song makes me cry every time I hear it. It’s a simple request for the confirmation of love and being on the same page with the person you’ve fallen for. The line “Nobody wants to be in love alone” highlights the #1 fear most people have when it comes to relationships.

Ebony Jenae – Grateful

I start my day with this song. It’s absolutely beautiful and delivered with sincerity & love. I truly believe the artist believes every lyric she sings.
