Alex, Seb welcome back to DMCWORLD, where on planet earth are you today?
“Hey Dan – today we are in Stockholm, Sweden!”
Really exciting time for you at the moment with your new single ‘Blind Heart’ which is released this week. Please talk us through the sound and history of ‘Blind Heart’…
“The song started out around six months ago when we got the accapella demo from Terri B. We instantly felt the vibe and we wanted to blend in the house music we grew up on whilst giving it a modern touch.”

Your new song begins with the lyrics…

…huge lyrics, who wrote the words…?
“Terri B wrote the song, but we loved how personal the lyrics felt. I think everybody including us can relate to it in one way or another!”

“Haha! The vibe is amazing in India. As Ax rightly said, it really is a place full of love! We love the people, the food is amazing and culture is very special! Juiceman was working in breakfast buffet in the mornings in our hotel, he was just incredible!”

North America is obviously a very big part of your future plans, you’ve just been over and played in a variety of locations including Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Diego. Now that the EDM kids are growing up they are thankfully discovering new genres of dance music, as we knew they would. What are your thoughts on the scene over there?
“In the bigger cities people are definitely more educated and more engaged with new sounds, while certain smaller cities are quite happy hearing what’s hot atm. I think the scene is still growing rapidly. America definitely still has a lot to give.”
What has been your biggest tune of the summer?
“Flume’s remix on ‘You & Me’!”
The last great studio toy you bought yourself?
“Serum!”
A producer or singer you would love to spend a day in the studio with?
“Kanye West!”
Your DJ gig of 2014?
“Sunburn India was a really special show for us!”
A new name on the scene we should be looking out for next year?
“Tundran.”
What will you be buying each other for Christmas?
“We’re probably just going to celebrate it with a nice dinner!”
And finally – what is coming out next for you studio wise?
“We have 3 songs ready at the moment and we are figuring out in what order to release them. Our personal favorite is one called ‘Til The Morning,” so watch that space as we can’t wait to show people what we have in store.”
