The story in this video is what really clinched this for me. It tells the story of an outcast who through music becomes popular. You don’t expect the twist, which is what makes it so compelling and makes the song so memorable.

Best label is not a tough one for me. I recently moved to Armada’s in-house team to open the U.S office. This team not only has the passion for what they do and the music, it’s all done with a sense of gratitude. Their soft touch attitude is exactly what drew me in from a 20-year period of independent promotion.

Personal highlight of 2016 – so tough to chose just one, but having my youngest son turn 1 and running the NYC marathon with my wife were both pretty cool.
Your ambition for 2017…
My main goal is to continue to grow the relationships from artist to fan. Simply promoting releases to radio and the streaming platforms is not enough. Facilitating a high level of balanced engagement between the artist and these platforms helps us weave into the fabric of the fans lives.
