Hailing from the Switzerland, David Horhager, the man behind the Dave Emanuel moniker is rapidly becoming one of the hottest up-and-coming acts within the electronic music scene. A versatile figure, boasting DJ, production and audio engineering credits, the Zurich based talent has already piled up around 150 releases on Beatport, with many more in the pipeline.
He’s taken the electronic music world by storm with his unique musical vision, dabbling into Progressive House and Uplifting Trance but also extends his influences to non-electronic genres such as Classical, Jazz and Folk. In recent years Dave have managed to land deals with top labels, including: Streamlined (Spinnin’), Hotfingers, JUMMP, Flashover, Be Yourself Music, Plasmapool (TRXX), Vous, Reepublic Records, Arisa Audio and Big Fish whilst enjoying the support of A-list superstars such as: Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Diplo, Swanky Tunes, Chuckie, Blasterjaxx, Sikdope, Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond, Paul van Dyk, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Cosmic Gate, W&W and Judge Jules amongst many others.
His industrious work ethic has resulted in numerous hit productions, including the likes of: ‘Desert’, ‘Hermes’, ‘Epos’, ‘Fury’, ‘Azuria’, ‘Ares’ and ‘Cheops’ aside from high profile collaborations with Tom Ferro and Nick Double. Having also put his DJing skills to the test at some of Europe’s most renowned clubs, such as: Oxa, MàD, Exil, Kraftwerk, L’Archet and Dome, Dave certainly knows a thing of two about selecting some engaging tracks.

Originally I discovered this song through the version Tiesto did back in the days. Love the melodies and chord progressions.
The Doors – Albinoni’s Adagio in G Minor
One of the most emotional songs that I know of.
Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody
An amazingly complex and multifaceted piece of music history.
Metallica – Enter Sandman
The raw energy in this one is incredible.
Daft Punk – One More Time
Daft Punk. What more to say.
ZEDD – Clarity ft. Foxes
ZEDD always impressed me with complex chord structure, unique sounds and arrangement and incredible songwriting.
Ten Walls – Elephants
Unique, different and onomatopoetic.

One of the songs that got me into Electronic music initially. Still love the JP-8000 Supersaw Pads & Leads.

Love the fresh chord progression and pitched voices
Shadow Child & Doorly – Clibin’ (Piano Weapon)
Simple and yet with a lot of impact. Lovely piece of House music.
