Back to Mine with Jata

Late night sessions heading off towards daybreak with the Kitsuné massive

1. Jon Lucien – Listen Love

Lush uptempo melancholic bliss. What can be better. Saudade.

2. Mark Murphy – Why And How

A hell of a band and what a singer.

3. Raymond Scott – Lightworks

Even without J Dilla’s kick and snare a bubbly joyride.

4. J Dilla – Waves

This whole album (Donuts) would have been enough for the afterhours.

5. Tame Impala – Eventually

Kevin Parker did everything right on this track. What a badass.

6. Mac DeMarco – Chamber Of Reflection

This dude will still make some amazing records – I hope!

7. Demon – You Are My High

One of my favourite French House classics.

8. Flying Lotus – Do The Astral Plane

Dance or chill-everything possible. Best guy.

9. Emilio Santiago – Bananeira

I mean he’s singing of bananas. Of course I’ll play it.

10. Bernard “Pretty” Purdie – 16th Note Shuffle

Okay, it’s a video. But an all in all great experience: great artistry and performance. Just how music should be. Ooh, I like it very much!
