DMCWORLD AWARDS 2015 – Gil Glaze

All over Garrix and Feldt in 2015 – and how cool was he at Exit?

Tune of 2015

Major Lazer & DJ Snake feat. Mo – Lean On

Your best DJ moment of 2015

Played my first mainstage set at a major festival last summer, playing my own music in front of more than 50,000 people at Exit Festival in Serbia was simply mind blowing

Your worst DJ moment of 2015

I won’t say what club it is but it was the middle of the summer and I had the flu. Right when I go on to play I ask one of the club managers for water and they never came to the booth at all during my set…I was dehydrated and literally thought I was about to collapse….I must have looked pale white hahaha…

Guilty pleasure track of 2015

I am sure a bunch of guys are saying this right now….Justin Bieber ‘Sorry’

Selfie pic of the year

DJ of the year

Martin Garrix – I think it is amazing how he changed his production and still remained relevant in the scene. I loved his set at the Sziget festival (I’ve been watching it on repeat on Youtube)

Label of the year

Enormous Tunes – they bring something completely different to the music scene and I personally feel their music could be heard in a club and on the radio in a car

Best breakthrough producer

Sam Feldt – I think he is going to blow up in 2016! His sounds are fresh and his track “Show Me Love” was my track of the summer

Best DJ argument of the year

I think the whole LennarDigital calling out Carnage for using pirated Sylenth1 on Twitter was funny

Most annoying record of 2015

Coco by O.t. Genasis. I love how the crowd react to that song though…

Best piece of studio kit launched in 2015

I am between the Seaboard Rise and Komplete 10 by Native Instruments

Biggest loser of 2015

I won’t say names all I will say is (DJs with big egos)

New Years Resolution?

Get to headline more shows and to spend more time in the studio in Zurich as well as collaborating with different artists. I’ve been managing DJ and school for the past years and in May I graduate so I guess I am nervous for this coming year as I will be turning DJing into a full time job alongside working on my record label, event series and artist management
