…wins big at the World Championship Kung Fu in San Francisco
Laidback Luke and the three other members of the Dutch national Kung Fu team travelled to San Francisco last week to compete in the annual Plum Blossom Kung Fu tournament. Luke, who is currently the world champion in Kung Fu sub-category Yu Dai Fu, and his three team members won a total of eleven medals, which is impressive to say the least for this notoriously competitive tournament. Luke himself was responsible for four of the medals that were won, two gold, one silver and one bronze.
“It was an extremely tough playing field with a lot of close finishes. Very proud of the Hong Ying Kung Fu pro team with a result of 11 medals and I am very motivated to keep working on my skill.”
