What was the first piece of music you heard this morning when you rolled out of bed?

No music, just a quiet cup of tea.

A big few weeks for you with the release of ‘Why Don’t You Say’ on Hedonism, a beautiful deep vocal cut. Please talk us through the history and sound of the track…

Actually this is a collab between Jo Hall and myself. She was the singer on a former track called U+I. I really love her voice and felt we should do another track.

Remix duties come via Johannes Brecht and Betoko who take the original into darker territories. Why were these guys hand picked and what are your thoughts on the rework?

Yes, this guys have been hand picked. I discussed my favorite remixer with the Hedonism crew and they made it work form me.

I live on the island of Ibiza, somewhere I know you love. Have you any plans to come here this summer?

I will definitly come to IMS and hopefully for some gigs later on this summer.

It’s been a couple of years, but I think it is a Roland JP8000 Synthesizer.
