The boys are back in town! ‘Come Follow’ on Spinnin…a monster on the dancefloor

Guys a massive welcome back to DMCWORLD. Where in the world are you right now?
“We’re in our home town of Amsterdam!”
The first piece of music you both heard this morning after rolling out of bed?
“Skyscrapers – Big Sean.”
What a way to start 2015 with your epic ‘Come Follow’ track featuring the amazing vocals of KiFi. Please talk us through the sound and history of the tune coming our way on Spinnin’…
“We wanted to create a really uplifting track, a track that could take over festivals in the summer you know? So we tried it and those vocals by KiFi really tied it all together!”
Can you remember where you first roadtested the track…did you know you were sitting on something very special?
“You never know when you’ve got a golden track, it usually kicks in when you play it for a crowd and they all go insane, fortunately that happened with ‘Come Follow’ so we really like that!””
Loving the new skimpy SJRM tank tops you have just brought out for the festival season. A question I ask all of my male producer dudes…when was the last time a girl fan flashed her knockers at you whilst you were DJing?
“Hahaha sometimes the girls tend to do that yeah, we’re not sure when the last time was, let’s keep it this way otherwise our wives/girlfriends get angry .”
It is obvious you love you clothes and always look cool whilst DJing. Who are some of your favourite fashion designers…
“Jan Boelo, we’ve worked with him in the past and we also really like the style of Rick Owens!”
Have you ever turned to each other and said ‘you are not going out wearing that’?!!?!!
“There’s been some times that one of us was trying out something new and one of us was like, hmm not too sure about this. But we support fashion, it’s cool when items don’t look the usual way!”
It is Miami Conference week around the corner. Our livers are at the ready. What most people don’t recognize though is that the Miami South Beach scene rocks twelve months a year…LIV for instance is a very cool club all year round. You were there last week…how was it?
“We love Miami, how could you not right? It’s such a chill city, you hang out on the beach or Ocean Drive and at night everything comes to life again! LIV is an awesome club and we had a really good time playing there, as always!”

One of DMCWORLD’s favorite radio shows is your Sexy By Nature production. Some producers put a load of effort in, some just flick on the lap top and upload a few tunes and voice overs. How important is your show to you?
“Sexy By Nature is our brand so it’s very important to us! We really make this our business card that people get to see, we want it to be good every time!”
An up and coming producer we should be looking out for in 2015?
“This Dutch guy Sam Feldt, he’s been putting out some top quality stuff.”
The last time one of you said to other, ‘dude – you played amazingly well tonight’…?
“Whenever we perform we really want to make it a team effort so whenever we’ve played amazingly we tell each other right away! It’s a really cool feeling to know that you rocked the place!”
What is on a Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano rider in 2015?
“Sleep.”
The DMC crew were on the dancefloor at your Las Vegas Hakkasan party two weeks ago. Hakkasan without a shadow of a doubt is going to be the biggest nightclub brand in the world within a few years. What makes this club so special?
“Hakkasan is one of the best clubs in Vegas and they create a talent roster every year that blows everyone away. They know how to get things poppin’ and they’ll keep doing it for years to come. The design of the club is so cool too!”
Are you the type of producers who shy away from the gaming tables whilst in Vegas, or do you gamble away some of your wages…?
“We don’t gamble that often when we’re in town, but we’ve had some expensive nights in Vegas haha.”
The best club gig of 2014…?
“Our performance at Wet Republic, that club is really close to perfection!”
The last time you pressed rewind on a track and listened to it again because it was so damned good?
“The Drums – Sonic One vs twoloud is a really sick track, love the rhythm.”
A festival date in 2015 that you just cannot wait for?
“Our Sexy By Nature weekender in Amsterdam and Rotterdam during the Easter weekend!”
Your best ever festival experience?
“There have been so many man! We were really happy to have played Tomorrowland Mainstage though!”
And a festival moment you would rather forget?
“Sometimes the power cuts out and whenever that happens it just sucks. But you know, you can’t have everything going perfect all the time.”
Who are the producer dudes you like to hang out with at festivals…who are the superstars you like to have a beer with when you are not working?
“Actually we like to hang out with everybody!!”
Plans for Ibiza 2015?
“No concrete plans yet, but we’re definitely going to be on the White Isle!!”
The last GREAT film you saw?
“Fury with Brad Pitt and Shia LeBoeuf, sick movie.”
And finally, what is coming out next from you guys studio wise?
“We’re working on some stuff for the festival season. But what’s most important right now is Ultra which is right around the corner”
