Guys a huge welcome back to DMCWORLD…where in the world are you right now?
Hey Dan, we’re in the US, just did a couple of gigs over here. Fun times!
What was the first piece of music you heard this morning after crawling out of bed?
Our track ‘Horny Bounce’, obviously. It’s out now on Armada Trice.
Yes, ‘Horny Bounce’…the obvious question first, who thought of the name?!?!?
Hahaha, I think Sunnery came up with the track name when we were on tour. You know, long nights and early mornings make for some weird discussions and even weirder end-results apparently.
Please talk us through the history and sound of the track…a definite nod to the more techy club vibe…
It’s a great track, it’s indeed more on the techy side of things when you compare it to Come Follow for example. We just really liked the vocals that we used and sort of built the track around that. We’re super stoked with the end-result.
You own your own restaurant in Amsterdam – what are you two like with aprons on in the kitchen? What are your signature dishes?
We do indeed! We think we’re quite okay at cooking, nothing like the chefs at our restaurant though. Signature dishes would have to be something from Surinam, our parents would cook it for us as kids and we never stopped loving it.
What superstar DJ friends of yours have eaten there?
Well we opened during ADE 2014 and invited a ton of friends and colleagues, so we had quite a few DJs in there as well!

– He produced this track for Black Ops 3, how many people can say that…

– Zonderling is actually one the guys from Noisia so it’s cool to see him venture out into other stuff.

– This dude’s been on fire for a long time, especially after his Show Me Love remix blew up.
Leon Benesty – Ibiza
– The name says it all, cool tune for the White Isle
If it’s one thing America does well it’s Halloween. How was Marquee New York last weekend…there must have been some incredible outfits in the house – you looked pretty fierce!
We’re always amazed by how seriously people take it in the USA. In the Netherlands it’s sort of slowly coming up but it’s nowhere as big as in America. Marquee was a lot of fun, some incredible outfits and just great people in general!

Breakthrough artist of the year: Sam Feldt has been taking the world by storm lately!
Your achievement of the year: Hosting our own Sexy By Nature festival in the Netherlands. One weekend and two different cities, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
ADE must seem like a distant memory now, just what makes this week of dance music love such an important part on our calendars?
For us, it’s a lot of fun to see all of our DJ colleagues in all together in one place, it’s great fun! Also, we’re constantly emailing all year round with a ton of different people and during ADE you can finally meet up in person, which is always great for the relationship. Plus, it’s a home-match for us! We’re from Amsterdam so we love it that everyone comes to our hometown.
What is coming out from you next studio wise?
Well we just did Horny Bounce, we’re working on new stuff but it is yet to take shape.
Where can we catch you on NYE this time round?
That’s a secret as of right now!
Would you say 2015 has been a good year for dance music?
It’s been a year with a lot of positives. We think that the dance industry has grown even more, it’s so big right now, who would’ve thought that this scene could grow at such a rapid rate.
And finally, Christmas is just around the corner – you’re going to have your hands full no doubt! But what do messrs James and Marciano want from Santa this year?
A worldwide radio-hit.
