Trade – The Grand Finale

Nick Tcherniak still aghast about his sequin baseball cap he wore whilst hosting

How are you feeling about this event being the FINAL one?

It’s going to be strange with it it, but the club has made such a big imprint on our minds and played a big part in shaping dance music’s history I don’t see it as being final as it’s memory and influence will surely live on.

Who is your greatest DJ hero from Trade and why?

It’s hard to pin-point one, of course Tony de Vit was astounding but the combination of all the Trade heroes gave the club it’s magic.

If you could invite any star to Trade for THE FINAL who would it be and why?

For different reasons, I would have to flip a coin between John Waters and Wentworth Miller.

What is your most embarrassing Trade moment?

Looking back I’d say wearing a sequin baseball hat was pretty out there, I was hosting and seemed a good idea at the time!

What made Trade so unique?

It’s mix of people, many from completely different walks if life but unified by a mutual love of the music and vibe.
