Trainspotting with Buff & Lean

Big tunes from the big hitters….

1. Buff & Lean ft Chantelle Rowe – I’m Coming (Back) (Sir Piers & KZNZK ‘Curious’ Original)
This is our first co-written production, the song tells a story, and depending upon the listeners view, can be interpreted in many different ways. There’s a definite homage, re-interpreting a line from a great Chic & Diana Ross song. It’s a fine debut, there… we said it!

2. Lovebirds feat. Lisa Shaw ‘Holdin On (Lovebirds 808ies Matrix)
Beautiful 80’s re-invention, with crisp and phat production ethics from Basti. This really hits the spot for us, and a stand out record for our sets this summer, and beyond!

3. Sir Piers – American in Chelsea ft Monique Bingham (Sir Piers & KZNZK ‘Curious’ Remix)
As the great philosopher F. Gump once said, “life is like a box of chocolates”, so is this remix. Forthcoming first single from SP’s debut LP SirVival.

4. The Internet – Dontcha
Just a bad ass tune.

5. Audiowhores – No Honey (Deep Vibe Mix)
A killer deep groove, with lots of delicious 808 seasoning. Look out for the Audiowhores’s remix of one of the songs from Sir Piers’s new album, SirVival.

6. Detroit Swindle – 64 Ways (Feat. Mayer Hawthorne)
Encapsulating what’s great about soulful house music, with that true retro nod. Swings like Michael Cane in Alfie.

7. Tensnake, Nile Rodgers, Fiora – Love Sublime (Extended Mix)
Sizzling… like the perfect date at the roller disco.

8. Miguel Migs – I Can Feel It (Piano Love Mix)
Migsy never fails. This is no exception. Solid! This mix hints on a possible influence from Erik Satie’s – Trois Gymnopédies.

9. Fabo ft. Lostcause – Where I Stand (Karmon Remix)
A Brazilian Deep House Treasure.

10. Childish Gambino – Heartbeat (Oliver Remix)
When we first met at a Sao Paulo studio, this was one of the tracks that we both agreed was wicked. The next day we both quit the Lumberjack business, and turned to a career in musical chairs.

Buff & Lean ft Chantelle Rowe ‘ I’m Coming (Back)’ will be released on Traxsource Promo August 18th / Full release September 8th  2014 on curious.
