Apologies, my bad… on a serious note though, are you struggling to decide on where to go to see the biggest award winning artists this year? Well, luckily for you, we have the answers right here. From GRAMMY winning acts and NME successes at the MOBO’s to the very best DJing talent ever to grace a set of decks, the options on stage across the world truly are limitless for 2016. Therefore, we can relate to you and understand your struggles.

Each festival dotted around the globe offers someone and something different which may all seem mouth-watering and appetising at the time but it doesn’t help you make that split decision as the festivals play a never-ending game of tug-of-war with your decision making puppet strings.

With a chance to experience your favourite artists play your favourite music in such magical locations as the mountains, on a beach, in a fortress or on an island, it comes as no surprise that you may need more than five minutes to decide what you’re going to save up your money for. Well, here is our guide on where to watch the best award winning artists at festivals in 2016. Hopefully after glancing through this, you’ll be able to make a decision in less than five seconds.

Tale Of Us at Caprices – 7th-10th April 2016 – Crans Montana, Switzerland

Caprices is a four-day festival that will be taking place over three incredibly different stages. These stages will be positioned on top and at the bottom of the slopes against a wonderful backdrop of Alpine thus creating an experience like no other.

Karm and Matteo Milleri – two Italian men who have formulated a unique Berlin based sound scape project entitled Tale Of Us will be headlining Caprices in April. They have changed the game in terms of their sound. With deep moving, emotional and infectious electronic music, Tale Of Us took the number one slot on the Mixmag Top 10 DJs of 2015.

Joining them in the snowy mountains of Switzerland will be such techno juggernauts like Ricardo Villalobos, Nina Kraviz, Maceo Plex and Jamie Jones.

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike at Exit Festival – 7th-10th July 2016 – Petrovaradin Fortress, Novi Sad, Serbia

Exit Festival is a four-day extravaganza which is held annually at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad in Serbia which just so happens to be considered one of the very best venues in the world.

Officially proclaimed the ‘Best Major European festival’ at the EU Festival Awards 2013, Exit Festival is very unique in the world of festivals having originally started life as a student movement fighting for peace and democracy in Serbia and the Balkans.

Over the years, more than 2.7 million people from all around the world have attended this festivals to witness the likes of such world famous performers like Snoop Dogg, Guns & Roses, Billy Idol, Motorhead, Franz Ferdinand and David Guetta.

2016 will see Exit Festival welcome a duo who topped this year’s DJ Magazine Top 100 and their Smashin’ House beats to the Dance Arena in the forms of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Joining them in what is a very diverse line-up will be the likes of Ellie Goulding, Bastille, Wiz Khalifa, Stormzy, Lost Frequencies, Nicky Romero, Robin Schulz, Solomun and more.

Dixon at Oasis – 16th-18th September 2016 – Morocco, Marrakesh

Fusing the perfect holiday and festival formula together as one, Oasis allows tourists to chill out in the Moroccan sun in the day-time lapping up the sizzling temperatures by the pool whilst enjoying spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains and then as night falls, the dance floor comes alive as the biggest names in the worlds of house, techno and electronic perform to their heart’s content.

Headlining this three-day captivating experience will be co-founder of the incredible Innervisions label, Dixon.

With an ever increasing popularity and a distinctive sound which brings nothing but pleasure to any set of ears it makes contact with, there is a reason Dixon has been number one on the Resident Advisor poll for the previous three years in a row. Dixon is sure to be a scorching highlight at this Moroccan showcase.

Joining Dixon will be the remarkable talents of Derrick May, Tale Of Us, The Black Madonna, Bicep and Hunee.
