ADE 2012 Special
I can’t believe it’s all over but really enjoyed my first year in ADE, already want to sign up for next year. The amount of talented producers and people in the industry was phenomenal. It was great to be involved and part of this giant House and dance family
Tunes of the week
After an incredible few days we discovered there were so much talent at ADE and we came across some big heavy hitting tunes, but the big 3 tunes that really stood out for were:
1. Reza & Joey Martinez -Casa Grande
2. Reza & Martin Wright – Looper
3. Jose Sousa & Mr . Maph – Superstition – Sami Dee’s Flamatic remix
Party of the week
The parties and hospitality of all the record labels and people involved were second to none but the party of the week had to be Mjuzieek Digital organised by wicked producer and label owner Roland Bartha
DJ of the week
Big DJs of the week we particularly enjoyed was a close match between two guys who are both producing great house music, but I think for us the person who really stood out was Reza, this guys is producings track after track and knows how to deliver a dance floor stomping set
Get any work done or was it all about the party
Work wise? Well I tried to get a few meetings completed in the Conference but it didn’t go quite as planned. I had been partying too much and enjoying exchanging drunken production talk and ideas far into the early hours. The conference itself was extremely well planned and laid out with real benefit to all who attended. Overall the whole event was well worth it for the networking and meeting so many great and friendly producers who are banging out big tunes in the house scene
Person to watch in 2013 who shone at ADE
Well there were so many and such big talent from all over the globe, but the guy who is putting out some great productions and is one to keep your eye on is Martin Wright who was at ADE. Big fan of his and he didn’t fail to disappoint. Loving the energy and the vibe from Martin – sure he’s got loads of stuff lined up for 2013. One person who wasn’t at ADE but we heard some of his new stuff played was Grayson P – watch out for some disco monsters from him too
Best gossip heard
Nothing too juicy, just a few collaborations of artists who I can’t wait to hear working together but can’t really name. We are even doing a new collaboration ourselves with a couple of our favourite House producers Garret & Ojelay
