You are back with a bang with your long awaited follow up to your debut album ‘Volume One’, for 2016 you are teaming up with Size Records for a series of episodic EPs – kicking off with ‘Legend’. Three tunes, please talk us through them…
Legend of the Keeper: Every hero needs a theme song. The Keeper is an enigmatic figure who bestows the Magic Sword upon those who are worthy and in need. Legendary immortals demand legendary music.
Uprising: A darkness sweeps over the land and threatens to extinguish all hope- a light remains. When the pure of heart can be pushed no more, the uprising begins.
The Curse: Those who serve the Magic Sword bear a heavy burden. The Magic Sword came to the Keeper through his desire to help mankind, but instead bound him, The Seer and The Weaver to it until he is able to finally find the chosen one. They are the Cursed.
For the thousands of people around the world reading this, let’s set a little history down. An anonymous music producer and a comic illustrator combing the power of sound and comics to tell the story of Magic Sword, a weapon of infinite power left to be guarded by The Keeper. How did this project begin, and what was the thinking behind it?
The original idea was whispered to me (The Keeper) by a benevolent muse at a meditation retreat in 2012. Epic fantasy electronic/rock inspired by late 70’s and 80’s sci-fi and fantasy movies. Soon after, the universe crossed the path of the illustrator with my own and we began scrying through time and space and shortly realized the best way to relay the story to the world was through modern means of music and comic books (bards do not get the traction they used to). A few songs and a 3 page comic then gave birth to an epic tale that continues to unfold and will take several years and several volumes to help the world understand what once was. The Dark Lord cannot be allowed to reign once more…
The first album drifted out, the wonderful power of word of mouth saw it sell out and three years later in 2015 it was re-released. What were you guys doing in those three interim years?
Though we did not outwardly bless this world with more of our delectable sounds and sights, rest assured we have been working non stop on all aspects of Magic Sword.
Weaving this tale demands the majority our time, as you can imagine the comic book takes a substantial time commitment to expand and complete.
When we commune with our followers in this dimension, it is paramount that those who join us are entering into an entire experience. This takes preparation. We do not merely put on, what you mortals would call a passive “musical concert”.

We will do no such thing, sir. You mere mortals and your incessant frivolities. While human DJs will be taking the masses “to church”, we will instead literally be saving legions of souls from damnation and darkness, if that pleases m’ lord.
When you call each other, what name comes up on your phone screen?
Telephone calls? That’s quaint. Our spirits travel the ether and project our minds to one another with instant and perfect clarity. In our mind’s eye it usually just looks like the other persons floating visage, but with glowing eye sockets and serpentine hair… does that count?
And finally, what is coming next from you studio wise?
2 more EP’s over the next 12 months to complete the 3 chapters of Volume 2. Then we venture off to the mountain of Volume 3.
