Matty Adams’ Festival Tips 2016 : Part 7

By Matty Adams

Another week has passed and another seven days have just been crossed off on your festival calendar. The countdown to your favourite festival has well and truly gathered pace, in fact, it may have already passed. We’ve had BPM Festival, Time Warp, SX Music Festival and many more and guess what? We’re only just getting started.

As we approach May, we also approach a difficult time of the year. Not for festivals of course, there are way too many to choose from… but if you re-read what I’ve just typed, that’s the underlying difficulty. There are simply too many to choose from and one can’t attend every breathtaking festival across the globe – you’d need money, you’d need a plane and most likely, you’d require a time machine.

So to help you make that all-important decision of what festivals to attend, here’s part seven of my festival tips for 2016.

Electric Island: Victoria Day – 23rd May 2016 – Hanlan’s Point, Toronto Islands, Canada

All of these events will be held over at Toronto Islands.

Ensuring this summer series starts in remarkable fashion, the Victoria Day season opener will see a melodic tingle blended with a vibe unlike any other at Electric Island.

Such a vibe will be created by an impeccable billing of names including Sven Vath, Jamie Jones, DJ Tennis, Job Jobse, Nature of Music, Jonathan Rosa and Brian Johnson.
