Jesse, Rachid a huge welcome back to DMCWORLD towers. Where on planet earth are you today?
We’re in Holland driving to Lucas & Steve and their studio for another huge collab!!!
Cool! Well, a new year and another huge piece of production from you guys, this time in the form of your collaboration with the mighty Chocolate Puma no less! Please talk us through the story and sounds of ‘The Stars Are Mine’…
The four of us were in the studio and we all felt the time was right to make something different. Something with a big atmosphere…it’s actually me (Pep) on the vocal haha!
When did the Chocolate boys first appear on your radar, what is it about their sound you love?
We played in Bootshaus, Germany and they played after us. We drank some beers together and talked about music. We really love their sound, it sounds very unique!
We all love to check out the photos of famous producers in their studios on social media. Last week you posted a photo on Facebook telling us you were ‘back in da lab’. Lurking on the desk were a packed of Malboro’s and an energy drink. Man, is that as healthy as it gets when you two are making sweet music!?!?!!????
Hahaha! Well…it’s a bad habit…that’s a fact! We eat a lot of fruit tho (…)
Another recent post you did was this little beauty : “If you may pick a music style/genre for us we should make sometime, which one would you choose?” So, were you surprised by your fans replies and what would have been your choice?
Yeah we loved their reactions! We’d love to make some techno!

You performed at some cracking festivals in 2016. What was your favourite and where can’t you wait for this summer…?
Electrobeach in France was awesome last year! For this year we just don’t know yet which one haha! We just love festivals!
Your favourite new foreign destination you discovered in 2016 and why…
New York. It’s just like in the movies haha!
What is coming up next from you musically?

We continue to listen and love your Rumors Radio show. What/whose were the shows you loved checking out when you were younger?
Nobody’s really, we just listened to local radio stations.
So let’s rewind for a moment. What is your earliest memory of music?
Pep: Going with my mom and father to their gigs (mom a singer, father a guitarist)
Rash: Listening to music at primary school!
How old were you when you both decided a career in music was for you?
When we were both in puberty! Born for music I guess haha…
What did your family think of this decision?
Haha, my (Pep) father always told me music offers no guarantees…but he always believed in my musicality. He’s very proud now!
If you hadn’t have become world famous musicians, what would you have done?
Rash: Painting which I did before.
Pep: Work in a factory. I did it before!
What is your ambition for the next 12 months?
Make awesome music!!!
