How’s your year been?
Its been amazing! I’ve been fortunate enough to play some amazing shows this year. Its just gone so quickly. No stopping now though there are plenty of plans in place for next year.

How would you describe your sound to someone who didn’t know?
Lots of drums and stabs and pads!

Do you prefer being in the studio or on stage DJing? Why?
The two go hand in hand for me. I want my sets to be as original as possible so its a constant aim to get original material and remixes ready for my next gig. I’d be really lost withut one or the other.

I see you use Twitter… what do you make of the service?
I love it! i joined a while ago but didn’t really use it much at first. But recently i cant get off it. I’m a bit of a Binge Twitter really, i mostly Tweet when i’m on the road doing gigs. I think people like it because its so simple to use.

What have been your best gigs this year and why?
This has changed a few times the last 12 months but i’d say at the moment it would have to be the Swedish House Mafia shows at Brixton Academy in November. The venue was packed both nights and the atmosphere in there was crazy from start to finish.

How much time do you spend sourcing music for each gig? Do you shop in the real world or only online?
As i say i like to make my sets original so i play a lot of my own stuff in my sets. but when i’m on the hunt for new music it’s all online these days. i really do miss the weekly “Record Shop” seeing all your pals waiting for the delivery guy to bring the latest vinyls, but times change.

What makes you, you?
It seems to be my quiff at the moment! Serious though i believe you only get out of life what you put in. And i’ve worked very hard for years now. I always put 100% into what i’m doing. Whether its writing tracks or playing a set or whatever.

You’ve played some big gigs with people like the Swedish House Mafia and Deadmua5…what’s that like?
It really is awesome as you can imagine! All the guys put so much effort into their shows, not just musically but the productions as well. It’s been great experience for myself as a DJ too.

What can people expect from you on NYE?
Im just finishing some new stuff at the moment so there’ll be a few exclusives plus my usual barrage of tools and vocals!
