Trainspotting With Risk Assessment

UK producer and DJ veteran, Risk Assessment (aka Glyne Brathwaite) has been behind the decks since the early 1990s and has performed at Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Fabric, Miami Winter Music Conference, to name a few. In the early 2000’s he ran Rude Awakening Promotions, and after taking a break from the music scene in 2007, he remerged with his Risk Assessment project in 2014 and has since released on Stereo:type, Househead London, Reel People Music and more. As his new remix of Sonic Soul Orchestra feat. Daniel Thomas – Wake Up (Risk Assessment Remix) lands on Australia’s Motive Records, DMCWorld goes Trainspotting with Risk Assessment.

This is probably my favourite Risk Assessment remix to date. It’s a cover of Charles Dockins’ “We Can Do It” which came out on Emotive over 25 years ago.

DJ Disciple feat. Michelle Weeks – Turn It Around (Risk Assessment Remix) – Catch 22

Another of my remixes, this one was for DJ Disciple on his Catch 22 label a few years ago and it’s about to be re-released. I’m a big fan of Michelle Weeks and this track showcases her amazing vocals.

Risk Assessment – Beep Beep – Stereo:type

This was one of my first disco edits and it uses samples from Barry White and Donna Summer. It first came out on Midnight Riot and now coming with a re-release on my own Stereo:type label.

John Ciafone – Sky Zone – JC Music HNL

This came out a couple of years ago but I had to include it because John Ciafone of Mood II Swing fame is my favourite producer and I love the afro vibes on this track.

Ron Trent feat. Harry Dennis – Black Magic Woman (Joaquin’s Edits Overdubs Version) – Sacred Music

Another classic with updated remixes, this time from Joe Claussell with deep, tribal afro vibes that make this a great track to mix.

N.W.N. & Sebb Junior – Come Again (Extended Mix) – La Vie D’Artiste Music

A great collaboration between N.W.N and Seb Junior. This is a great floor-filler for the middle of a set.

Fouk – Get It Done – Freerange

Deep melodic vibes and a great groove from one of my favourite record labels.

Brian Jackson feat. Rich Medina – Winter In America (12” Mix) – BBE

Another solid release from Masters At Work.  I love the soulful Latin vibe on this mix.

Chez Damier x Supernova – Can You Feel It – Armada Music

I’m finishing off with yet another classic, this time from Chez Damier with a new collaboration from Supernova. Can’t wait to play this one.
