With previous tracks on heavyweight labels like Diynamic, Altra Moda, Toolroom, Spinnin’, and Insomniac, Viv Castle has firmly established himself as one of dance music’s most dynamic creators on the current scene. Hot off the heels of his single on Altra Moda in November, he is back with a bang, teaming up with vocalist Champagne Safari for his latest single release, ‘Last Dance’ on Dark City Music. Got to lead it off with my new one. Made it with the amazing vocalist Belle. It’s a high energy House track and Belle give it some power vocals. It’s a weapon!!

Max Styler – Time To Go – Three Six Zero Recordings

You just have to love Max’s dark and moody Tech House. He really has created a section that is brand news and this one is a great example of that – full of energy and his unique sound.

Noizu – Vogue (Will Watt Remix) – TECHNE

If you can’t tell by now, unconventional energy is what I really get into, and this one slaps. It’s just pretty minimal, with a few Trance-y elements and that vocal really brings it to life. Well done Will, killer remix!!

 

Marco V – Pushing On – Epic247

Techno banger here, where Marco gives a really fresh take on a classic vocal. It’s one of my favs right now!!

ESSEL, ALTA ft. Katy Alex – Sweet Harmony – ESSEL

No going to lie, this one was one my short list to rework, but ESSEL and ALTA did a killer job with Katy on vocals. High energy and good respect to the original. I love it.

Viv Castle – Bad Boy – V55records

I’ve been on a little bit of a trip back to the 90 reece bassline scene. Bring It Back focused on Jungle, but Bad Boy is more Speed Garage, but with an homage to Miami Bass, feel that 808 in the breakdown.

DANNY AVILA, SAM WOLFE, HNTR – YES B!TCH (ft. Rome Fortune) – Experts Only

Got to keep this one in here. Not only is Sam a good friend, but this track is next level. It was one of the big hits of the year, simple and clean, but does damage!

Matt Guy – Rush – Armada Music

Matt always crushes his tunes and this one is no exception. He nailed that old school rave house sound, you just want to sing and dance along. Always the sign of a killer track.

Disfreq – Brotata – Arcane

Talk about high energy, when you want to grab a room by the you-know-what and throw them around, this is the track. Absolute madness.

Bexxie & Yurie – Sacrifice (You & I) – Purple Tea Records

This one, that vocal and the melody just make you melt. For me this at the end of a set would just set it off, everyone would remember that moment. I love this.
