For his latest album Agoria takes his inspiration from film – specifically that directed by Olivier Van Hoofstadt. He gets the blend of vocal and instrumental tracks just about right, and in the opening ‘Tender Storm’ the two are combined to a really weird effect, with the voice floating above Agoria’s keyboard track rather well. ‘Dust’ and ‘Solarized’ are also really descriptive vocal tracks, while ‘Run Run Run’ and ‘Diva Drive’ showcase more powerful beats. Agoria has a really good way with scoring descriptively, and the piece runs really well either as a soundtrack or a DJ set.
