Time for a round-up of the impressive studio wizardry that is Alan Braxe, who – alongside Thomas Bangalter & Fred Falke – virtually re-shaped the face of house music via filter melting, 80’s referencing, feel-good dance music, and becoming instant classics in the process. French house music as never been the same since tracks like “Vertigo”, “Most Wanted”, “In Love With You”, “Intro” (selling a whopping 180,000 copies since it’s initial release) & the amazing “Music Sounds Better With You” first emerged from a speaker box and caused instant dancefloor ecstasy. These classics feature on this release, of course, along with less familiar titles. The fact that the sound still sounds as fresh and unforced today as it did way back when means it’s a great time for rediscovering Monsieur Braxe & friends.
