The title of this album has something of a double meaning, as it refers to a horrific paragliding accident Alex had whilst on holiday in 2002. After a year of rehabilitation Alex channelled all of his emotions into his first love; music. The result being this 11 track odyssey. Straying slightly from his trademark progressive and trance sound Alex embraces all genres with consummate ease. The album opens with the title track and one that sees Alex head into breakbeat territory with guitar licks, MC samples, spin backs and a whole host of other FX. This is succeeded by such highlights as the blissed out electronica on ‘String Theory’, thought provoking trance of ‘Stranded in Paradise’ and electro house on the Phil Oakley sung ‘LA Today’. All in all it’s an enchanting album that will introduce Mr.Gold to a much wider audience.
