Uwe Schmidt makes a mighty amount of noise with his 8-bit brainstorms, needing a couple of practise runs to reroute his Kraftwerk hobby through deadpan robotics, indiscriminate beats and unsystematic mainframe bleeps and strobes, before really hitting his stride midway through. ‘iLove’, presumably looking for an iPod tie-in, and ‘Sexuality’, a butch ‘French Kiss’ simulator, slug it out as acid heavyweights in touch with their kitsch side where the 303s rebound at all angles. Crazier than a Coconut, but in the best possible way!
