A name and title all old-school ravers in the house will instantly recognise. Not exactly rushing, this is Bizzy B’s follow up to Volumes 1 & 2, released on Whitehouse around 1993 / 94. The styles remains unchanged. Amen breaks, chopped, tweaked, cut-up, mentasm riffs boinging from your speakers, ragga licks and some proper bassline pressure. Digital techniques mean this analogue madness can be manipulated to devastating effect, ably demonstrated on “Deep In My Soul” and “Merda Style 2004” (featuring Equinox). But check out the snare driven “Darkside” for the true sound of 90’s urbania.
