Cagedbaby is most definitely a name to hang on to at the moment, and you’ll
have plenty of chances to catch them live at Creamfields, Clapham Common
and Notting Hill in the immediate future. Meanwhile their debut album looks
set for big things, confirming them as much more than just the new Royksopp. It seems main man Tom Gandey can turn his hand to pretty much any style he chooses, whether it’s dreamy electronica, fired up disco action or straight forwardly catchy pop songs. This is a rare occasion where it’s safe to believe the hype – they’re set to take this year by storm in a manner achieved by Mylo last summer.
