The title gives it away – this album is the fruits of several Bug-eyed collaborations, with the likes of Cassy, Gigi, Virginia Nascimento and Paris The Black Fu. Underpinning the music is Bug’s cool, deep production – sometimes veering towards tech-house, other times slowing down and becoming a bit more soulful – jazzy even, in the case of Cassy’s ‘Strong Moment’. The best tracks are arguably those where the smoky deep house takes over, such as ‘Trees Can’t Dance’ or the darker Cle collaboration that is ‘Month Of Sip’. Though the vibe throughout is mostly relaxed, Bug retains an edge that works really well, keeping the album in the foreground wherever you’re listening to it.
