Continuing to celebrate the labels rooftop parties at the Standard Hotel in downtown Los Angeles this series of compilations sounds like second to none. You only have to listen to Lorenzo Dada’s opening track, ‘Don’t Be Rude’ to be captivated by its moody, bassline driven funkiness that’s fiercely augmented by the sight and taste of invigorating electronic sounds. Al Gobi’s heavenly melodies of, ‘10 Miles’ follow while the remaining excellent numbers are provided by Balcazar & Sordo + Dance Spirit, Special Case, Raxon, Adriatique with Lonely Boy’s curtain call, ‘Somewhere Else’ ending on a captivating, brooding high.
