It’s never easy to predict what you’re going to get next from Daedelus, but always easy to say it will be entertaining. ‘Love To Make Music To’ spends some of its time paying homage to early rave music, but throws in an awful lot more besides, with guest spots from Paperboy, Taz and Om’mas Keith among others. ‘Make It So’ is a superb track, bouncing in with a breezy beat and Michael Johnson’s rich vocal, while Get off Your HiHats and Fair Weather Friends are also hi-octane house-based tracks. Daedelus’ versatility ensures this album flits between all manner of states and tempos, never staying still for a minute.
