The chrome coldness of Olle Cornéer’s physics pulsate and effervesce at sharp, shrill angles; sinewy, liquid house and synthetic switch-hits meddling with frequencies and sonic genetics, and drawing on 80s flights of fancy with suitably enigmatic/unmoved vocals. Out of the mechanised glare, samba bongos are planted upon ‘Desert Nights’ and strange metallic raindrops fall on ‘Coming Home’, with ‘The Hour of the Wolf’ preset to prowl widescreen shards of stretched sound in ‘Good Lives’ most involved moment. His electronic joie de vivre has an unsolved magnetism to it, electing Dibaba as someone to definitely abide by.
