Film maker and composer Hans Fjellestad recorded this live whilst touring Japan in 2003, taking in Yokohama, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe and Nagoya. It’s presented exactly as it sounded at the time, completely unedited, and consists of Fjellestad performing on piano, synthesizer, microphone and customised software. The word ‘free’ really doesn’t do it justice – maninpulated sounds will slowly give way to fuller, melodic riffs followed by ‘found’ every day noises. Headfood for those looking for something off the radar. The faint hearted might want to keep the CD remote close to hand.
