Athens-based producer DSF marks his artist debut on the Peppermint Jam imprint with a wonderfully seductive sonic clash of genres. The Original version is an utterly future cosmic funked up percussive grower along the lines of Quentin Harris ‘Bar A Thym’ blended with Hammond organ and afrocentric rhythms. The Anto Vitale remix on the other hand is definitely more on the synthy electric deep house tip with more then a passing nod to Mr. Fingers, Detroit and UR. It’s one of these instrumentals that doesn’t need a vocal and you’ll hear being played ‘til its very end. Collectively, these two phenomenal mixes are the true essence of glacial cool-out, head-nodding eccentricity.
