With so much great music around these days it’s sometimes hard to know which way to turn but this latest from High Heels Breaker’s aka Domenico Ferrari will point you in the right direction. It’s a selection of inspired, yet wired, funky rhythms and soulful sequences that are all about creating electric atmospheres, just as they are about occasional dancefloor anticipation care of the squelchy bass driven, ‘Downtown Rush’. Tracks such as, ‘Inside Out’ ooze cosmic funkiness with shuffling beats and spacey keys while others like ‘Black Lines’ which rest breathy vocals on jagged grooves are much more edgy in tone. Not that the album provides too much chance for categorizations with its forward thinking agenda this is set to run the course of summer to beyond.
