In recent months the number of releases bearing John DahlbŠck’s name has reached almost pandemic proportions. Still in his late teens, the latest dance protagonist from Sweden has remixed a plethora of top artists, while as a producer has had releases out on a handful of leading labels. His artistic debut, and is a slickly conceived pastiche of lite techno, burbling electronica and dream inducing house. Well conceived, constructed and executed, the 15 tracks also touch on electro house and even siren soaked rave anthems with special mention in particular for ‘Ooh Oh I E’,’ Now It’s Not Summer’ and ‘Take Me Back’ – the latter one of the best tracks Green Velvet never made.
